Stainless steel surface treatment

Technology

Chemical Polishing, Pickling, Passive State Treatment, Various Plating, Painting and Others

Purpose/ Benefit

Stainless steel itself does not easily corrode, however there is a chance for corrosion during the production process due to a stain, adherence of iron powder or when it is exposed under a chloride environment. We upgrade the Stainless steel products we make by taking advantage of various surface treatment at our final stage.

Products

SUS containers, Medical tools, Ornaments, Building use SUS parts, SUS piping for making semi-conductors, Vacuum equipment parts, Parts for Food Industry equipment, Sanitary piping parts and others.

Aluminum surface treatment

Technology

Anodizing (Chemical polish anodizing, Dye anodizing, Electrolytically colored anodic oxide coating), Hard anodic oxide coating, Chemical conversion coating, Painting.

Purpose/ Benefit

By applying surface treatments, we can take advantage of AluminumÕs original character. Corrosion resistance is enhanced by anodizing and it makes surfaces difficult to damage. Also, we can create highly designed surfaces by chemical polishing, etching or dying. Hard anodic oxide coating can create hard and thick coatings, approx. 350 ~ 500 VickerÕs hardness (Max. 100,,m), so this is utilized in the slide member of the machine.

Products

Equipment, Machine components, Sports Equipment, Ornaments, Enclosures for weak electrical products and Others.

Titanium surface treatment

Technology

Pickling, Etching, Chemical polishing, Buff polishing, Abrasive blasting, Painting, Photocatalyst conversion coating and Other treatments

Purpose/ Benefit

Titanium naturally tends to be preeminently corrosion resistant and extremely strong, however, we can create or bring out other characteristics by applying various surface treatments. Thus, Titanium can become a high-grade metal.

Products

Camera parts, Medical instruments, Enclosures for mobile phones or computers, Piping parts and Others.

Self-color Stainless steel/Anodized Titanium

Technology

Self-color Stainless steel/Anodized TitaniumTo develop a color by creating a very thin clear oxide film on the surface of stainless steel or titanium. This technology utilizes an interference effect of two types of light- one reflects on the coated surface and another reflects on the boundary surface of coating and metal. (This color developing theory is the same as the theory of rainbow colors seen on soap bubbles.)
The Coating on Stainless steel is created by oxidation of chemical when Stainless steel is exposed to the solution (Chemical coloring).
Coating on Titanium is created by applying electric to Titanium as the anode in chemical solutions.

Purpose/ Benefit

Colors created by dye or pigment are discolored or faded by lights. On the other hand, discoloration or color degradation never occurs with Self-color stainless steel or Anodized Titanium. Coloring which takes advantage of the original metal surface, such as hair-line, mirror finish, abrasive blasting, matt-finish, etc., are possible, since this coloring is created by thin and clear coating.
The tone of color changes slightly depending on different view angles and what angles light enters. This gives deeper color tone than painted colors. Bending or light drawing after coloring is possible, since coating adheres on the surface well.
Gradation coloring is also possible in Titanium coloring.
